Our client is looking for an exceptional business strategist with the ability to drive financial planning and analysis in service of business, channel and product strategy/growth. You will work with various departments supporting Financial Planning and Analysis activities and have a unique opportunity to learn Gorton’s financials as well as provide an opportunity to enhance your analysis knowledge and leadership capabilities. You will quickly contribute to Gorton’s business objectives as a senior member of Gorton’s Team.  

 

What you’ll do:

• Utilize data to drive insight, business strategy and innovation

• Work with cross-functional team to drive business, channel and product growth

• Oversee business segments P&L’s, profitability reporting, and new product development.

• Partner with different departments to develop budgets, revise forecasts, and support key metrics.  

• Manage team of 1-3 financial analysts while working collaboratively with other Managers. 

• Identify and communicate key responsibilities and best practices.

 

Must have:

• 8-12 years of experience

• Strong ability to leverage data to drive insight and business decisions

• Excellent leadership skills and presence

• Initiative – a self-starter with great interpersonal and communication skills. 

• A successful attitude, strong confidence, and teamwork to achieve business results.

• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to collaborate cross functionally across various business teams. 

 

Nice to have:

• Experience in CPG/Food & Bev

• Financial analysis experience

• Degree in finance or Business-related field. Master’s Preferred.
