Business Manager - Club and Alternate Channels

The Business Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth within the Club and Alternate Channels. This role owns the achievement of profit, volume, trade spending, and distribution objectives, while serving as the primary point of contact for assigned customers. The role also represents Sales on internal, cross-functional Club & Alternate Channel teams.
Key Responsibilities

Profit & Volume Growth
Deliver profit, sales, and trade spending targets across assigned product categories and in total. -
Key Account Development
Develop and execute annual customer plans that drive growth through expanded distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing strategies. Present plans to customers, track results, and adjust as needed. Build strong, long-term partnerships grounded in trust and collaboration. -
Entrepreneurial Leadership
Identify emerging trends within the Club Channel, evaluate potential product opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute strategies, programs, and products aligned with consumer behavior and regional needs. -
Customer & Internal Collaboration
Serve as the voice of the customer internally, working closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other partners to ensure seamless execution and strong business outcomes.
Location: Gloucester, MA, in office 4 days/wk
Qualifications

At least 3–5 years of successful account management experience within the Club Channel required
(Costco experience strongly preferred) -
Bachelor’s degree required

Demonstrated career progression with a prior employer, reflecting both performance and stability

Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to understand and clearly communicate all aspects of product development to customers

Experience leveraging syndicated data (Nielsen/Circana) and/or customer-specific data to build compelling sales stories

Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Assertive self-starter comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines

Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and design programs to capitalize on them

Strong team orientation and cross-functional collaboration skills

Willingness to travel up to 30%
Compensation$117,360 – $146,700 annually
