We've spent years hiring, managing and mentoring great marketing talent before we ever picked up the mantle of recruiting. And, there's a good chance that we've done the role, managed the role, or worked side-by-side with the role our clients are looking to fill.

 

We’re looking for marketers with 10+ years of experience who are interested in making the career change to executive recruiting. In this role you’ll be responsible for the full recruitment life cycle; from generating new searches to finding candidates (for marketing, strategy, communications and product management positions) and managing both clients and candidates throughout the process.

 

Key Skills:

 

New business development

  • You need a strong mix of hunting and farming skills

  • You need a consultative approach to work with prospective clients through a very consultative sales process

  • You need to be self-motivated and entrepreneurial, and have the confidence and ability to build a book of business

Relationship management

  • This is a relationship business. The ability to build long-term, genuine, and consultative relationships with clients will pay dividends for you in the long-run

  • And, this is a people business. It’s important to have a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy to those going through an interview process 

Communications

  •  Strong communications skills are critical in keeping clients and candidates updated throughout the process.

Project management

  •  While the recruitment process is far from complex, there’s still a lot of juggling that needs to be done, so the ability manage multiple people and multiple searches is important

Modern marketing knowledge

  • We are successful with our clients and with candidates because we’ve been in their shoes and we talk their language. Understanding the ever changing landscape of marketing is critical to helping our clients build successful teams.
