Our client - celebrated for their artisanal chocolates, pastries, and drinking chocolates - is seeking a Head of Marketing to accelerate their next phase of growth. As the founding leader of their marketing function, you will own customer acquisition strategy, drive online and in-store revenue growth, and improve performance across paid and owned channels.
This is a highly hands-on role suited for a performance-oriented marketer who enjoys building within a small team and can move seamlessly between strategic planning and day-to-day execution. We’re looking for someone who brings forward high-impact ideas, uses data and insights to guide decisions, and is energized by working closely with a leadership team who is ready to test, learn, and act.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy, Execution & Optimization

Define and own the company’s marketing roadmap and strategy to support near- and long-term growth objectives

Plan, launch, and manage paid acquisition campaigns across platforms to drive customer and revenue growth

Own and improve key performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, LTV, and payback period.

Build and maintain dashboards and attribution models to evaluate performance across channels and campaigns

Run experiments and A/B tests to improve campaign results and conversion rates.

Use cohort and RFM (Recency / Frequency / Monetary) analysis to identify high-value customers and retention opportunities

Conduct full-funnel analysis to identify bottlenecks and conversion gaps

Execute quickly, measure results, and iterate with expediency and focus.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work directly with the creative team to test, analyze, and optimize marketing content.

Partner closely with the e-commerce team to align marketing initiatives with growth priorities

Partner with store teams to drive in-store traffic, conversion, and revenue through coordinated marketing initiatives
Market Insights & Planning

Stay current on trends, tools, and industry best practices to ensure competitiveness

Help strategize, plan, and monitor the annual marketing budget, identifying high-ROI opportunities.
What We Are Looking For

8+ years of performance marketing experience, ideally with a premium or e-commerce brand
-
Based in Boston (or willing to relocate) and available to work in-person 5 days/week

Committed to thoughtfully growing a premium brand with nearly 40 years of heritage, with an appreciation for creativity and design

Deep experience with GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Looker (or other BI tools), and a strong understanding of attribution frameworks, marketing efficiency ratios, and customer lifetime value

Eager to experiment with creative growth strategies, test rapidly, analyze results, and adapt quickly.
