Our client is a boutique real estate advisory firm specializing in lease negotiation and portfolio strategy for both healthy and distressed assets across retail, healthcare, higher education, restaurant, office and other sectors. We deliver strategic, high-touch advisory services to a diverse range of clients seeking innovative real estate solutions.

 

We are seeking a Marketing Director or Senior Marketing Manager to lead the firm’s marketing strategy and execution, ensuring the brand reflects the quality, sophistication, and impact of the firm’s advisory services. This role owns day-to-day marketing operations, manages external partners, and drives creative initiatives that increase visibility, strengthen client engagement, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations Management
    Serve as the primary liaison with the firm’s PR agency, coordinating press releases, media opportunities, and ongoing brand positioning.

  • Website & Digital Presence
    Own the firm’s website strategy and content, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives. Manage relationships with external developers and digital vendors as needed.

  • Pitch & Presentation Materials
    Develop, maintain, and standardize company-wide pitch decks and presentation materials, ensuring consistency in messaging, visuals, and brand voice across all client and prospect-facing materials.

  • Marketing Operations
    Plan and execute daily marketing activities, ensuring consistent messaging and seamless execution across all channels.

  • Advertising & Collateral Development
    Oversee the design and production of marketing collateral, digital campaigns, and print materials in support of business development and brand awareness.

  • Conference & Event Marketing
    Plan and manage firm participation in industry conferences, including booth design, marketing materials, and event logistics.

  • Client Experience & Communications
    Partner closely with business development and advisory teams to create high-impact client communications, presentations, and overall client experiences.

  • Social Media & Thought Leadership
    Lead the firm’s social media strategy, content calendar, and engagement to strengthen brand visibility and thought leadership.

  • Strategic Planning & Positioning
    Support firm leadership in identifying market opportunities and shaping positioning strategies aligned with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus)

  • 7–10 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within real estate, professional services, or related industries

  • Proven experience managing external PR and marketing agencies

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Google Ads, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Strong understanding of brand management and storytelling

  • Self-starter with the ability to navigate complexity and drive results in a dynamic, high-expectation environment

Work Environment:

  • Primarily on-site role based in New York City, with occasional time in Long Island

  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with regular exposure to firm leadership and clients
