Our client is entering a pivotal phase of growth—expanding into new markets, elevating their solutions portfolio, and shaping a category-defining brand. To accelerate this momentum, they’re seeking a Vice President, Brand Marketing & Communications to architect and scale their own world-class brand engine that boosts our market visibility, strengthens our position with high-value audiences, and unifies storytelling across every touchpoint.
This executive will own the strategic foundation of our client's brand—positioning, messaging, product/solution narratives, thought leadership, PR, analyst relations, and executive visibility—while building and leading a high-performing team across Brand, Product/Solutions, Marketing, and Corporate Communications.
They are on an ambitious journey, with plans to grow through acquisition and assimilate new colleagues and expertise into a unified brand platform. This is a high-impact, high-expectation leadership role designed for someone who knows how to build fame and scale a modern B2B brand in a world reshaped by AI, evolving buyer behavior, and intense competitive pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Identity

Establish and manage the overarching brand strategy, positioning, value proposition, and messaging framework.

Establish and enforce brand architecture, identity systems, and governance across all business units and service lines, ensuring consistency across touch points

Define and refine ICPs and marketing investment frameworks in alignment with strategic growth goals

Lead brand integration for acquisitions, including assimilation of offerings and service lines and communications planning
Product, Solutions & Vertical Marketing

Translate capabilities, solutions, and product offerings into clear, market-ready narratives.

Build and maintain solution playbooks, use cases, value propositions, and proof points.

Deliver sales enablement materials including battle cards, segment briefs, pitch decks, and competitive insights.
Corporate Communications & Public Relations

Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy covering media relations, company announcements, employee communications, and thought leadership.

Lead relationships with major analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC) to elevate the agency’s industry standing.

Manage PR programs including agency news, awards, partnerships, client wins, and innovation storytelling.
Team Leadership & Operational Management

Build, lead and grow a high-performing team including Product & Solutions Marketing, Brand Governance, Corporate Communications, and PR/Analyst Relations.

Establish processes, KPIs, and standards for brand performance, message governance, and content quality.

Introduce modern, AI-enabled workflows to improve content velocity, versioning, and testing.

Required Qualifications

12+ years of progressive B2B marketing leadership experience; digital agency, consulting, SaaS, or technology background preferred.

Demonstrated success owning brand strategy, messaging, PR, analyst relations, and product marketing

Proven experience leading teams through growth, especially management of brand acquisitions

Expertise in developing narratives for complex, multi-disciplinary solutions and technical capabilities

Strong track record with media relations, award strategy, and thought leadership programs

Hands-on experience with analyst evaluations (e.g., Magic Quadrant, Wave, Market Guide)

Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive writing ability

Experience with AI-enabled content workflows, governance, and creative tooling.
